Reign of TerrorReign of Terror was my first major tabletop RPG publication. The supplement was for Call of Cthulhu, and was related to the enormous Horror on the Orient Express campaign.
My role was threefold. First, to provide supporting content to the main story. This included extra playable classes, a number of short campaign seeds and outlines, and mechanical systems to emulate the unstable French economy at the time. Second, to provide some historical content for the game. I contributed social class information for players, detailed economic research, and provided "Worldbuilding" context for the historical setting. Finally, as a French national myself, I provided a francophone perspective on the book. The entire process provided me with the experience of creating professional grade RPG content, and trained me in how to work on well established and celebrated IPs. |
An excellent live-play of Reign of Terror by the Encounter Roleplay crew.
